QUICK DETAILS
Santamaria Night Walk Overview
Santamaria Night Walk is a 2-hour night walk in a small group with a tour guide and flashlights at Santamaria’s farm, located in the outskirts of Monteverde, Costa Rica, searching for nocturnal wild animals such as sloths and snakes in their natural habitat.
The Santamaria Night Walk tour is suitable for ages 6 and above.
Santamaria Night Walk Itinerary
You will join a group of six to twelve people led by a tour guide, who will give you an introduction before heading into the forest. Next, your tour guide will set the expectations on what you will potentially see on your night walk, based on the animal’s patterns and behaviors from previous nights.
Then, you will go on a light walk throughout the property’s trails, and you will stop at times when your tour guide finds animals to show you. Your tour guide will explain the natural history of the animal and will answer any questions you may have about that animal before moving on through the trail to find the next creature.
After approximately 1.5 hours of walking on the trails, you will head back to reception to wrap up the tour.
Santamaria Night Walk Prices
