Sky Walk Arenal Description

Sky Walk Arenal is a more relaxed self-guided* tour on a combination of two hanging bridges and 1.5 miles (2.5 km) beautiful nature trails, and two viewpoints (one overlooks a beautiful 30-meter drop waterfall). 

At Sky Walk Arenal, you will experience a walk above the canopy of the trees, a privileged vantage point to oversee the Arenal’s rain forest. 

*You can upgrade Sky Walk Arenal to a guided tour to learn more about nature and to spot more wildlife.

Sky Walk Arenal is a good choice for families with kids above seven years of age based on the trail’s difficulty level.

Clear directions, no pressure to take a guide, we opted for transit and Sky Walk entrance. Did it on our own - perfect, we're all by ourselves, took our time. We loved the hanging bridges and the peacefulness of the place. The two waterfalls were lovely to see. I watched the young 'uns rappel one of the falls - not for us!

Bridges and Waterfalls Sky Walk Arenal

My wife and I did the jungle walk and the hanging bridges. The hike is fun. Takes about 3 hours. Not so easy if you are not in shape. Neat views of the volcano and the folks ziplining from the bridges. Two very nice waterfalls to see. Fun morning hike. Note: No wildlife or birds to see when walking. Enjoy the walk!

Fun Adventure! Sky Walk Arenal

We did Sky Trek and Sky Walk at Sky Adventures Arenal. 2 adults and three teens: we loved it! I am not a fan of ziplining, but with three boys, I do things for them! It was fun after I got over my initial fear--for them, they had no fear. It was significant to zipline and saw Lake Arenal and the volcano. What a fun adventure!

First but Not Last! Sky Walk Arenal

This tour was the highlight of our Arenal area trip. Our guide Gilbert was knowledgeable and fun during our Hanging bridges hike. The hike is moderately challenging. The view is fantastic. After the Sky Walk Arenal, we had lunch with the volcano view at Chill Bar. It was great! We would highly recommend it to anyone!

Amazingly Beautiful Sky Walk Arenal

We went for the rainforest-hanging bridge but ended up staying there the whole day. Over the hanging bridges, the Sky Walk Arenal was magnificent and worth the trip just for that. After the 3 km Sky Walk, we had coffee and cake at the onsite restaurant. It was wonderful. Highly recommended if you are in Arenal.
